About us
STAND TALL Physical Therapy is located in Newport Beach on the corner of Westcliff Drive and Irvine Ave, across the street from the Shell gas station, above Keane Coffee. Our doors opened in March of 2007 and we have become the number one referral choice for many local doctors and are highly recommended by our previous and current patients.

- One Hour Sessions all of our sessions are 60 minutes.
- Licensed & Experienced Physical Therapists perform all treatments, not Aides.
- Specialists in spine stabilization and mobilization techniques.
- More Individual Attention and individualized treatment plans are a result of us maintaining a smaller volume of patients each day.
- An Aching Back May Not Be A Bad Back. . . our PT's look at the whole body to determine the source of a patient's pain/discomfort to treat it properly regardless of whether it's a back problem, ankle problem, or a shoulder problem.
- Homework! The therapy doesn't end when the session is over. Each patient leaves with a home exercise plan in hand.
- Patient Education is one of the keys to recovery. We teach proper techniques to use each day to help achieve and maintain a healthy, pain-free lifestyle.
- Medicare is one of the many insurance plans accepted at STAND TALL. We also accept in-network PPO plans and resonalbe costs for out of network plans and private patients.

Kirsten Sverdrup Robinson, Physical Therapist, Owner
STAND TALL's owner, Kirsten Sverdrup Robinson, PT worked at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach as a Physical Therapist and Supervisor when she came to the United States from Norway in 1983. In October of 2006, she made the decision to leave Hoag Hospital and start her own Physical Therapy practice. Kirsten earned her Neurac (Neuromuscular Activation) certification and opened the doors to STAND TALL in March 2007.LC Gorham, Physical Therapist
LC earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from California State University, Long Beach, where she developed a balance program for seniors as her research thesis. She is also a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor. She specializes in teaching spine stabilization using core strengthening techniques and has been with STAND TALL since February 2010.
